Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt’s Statement on Judge’s Decision in Dodd-Frank Case

“We disagree with the judge’s conclusion that the State of Oklahoma, or any state, has not been harmed by this law that gives federal agencies the power to decide the fate of our state’s investments. Indiana learned the hard way what happens when the federal government exercises this sort of power. The millions of dollars that were wiped out of Indiana's pension funds are exactly the reason we sued to protect Oklahoma’s investments from this unchecked power,” Attorney General Scott Pruitt said. “We will be appealing this decision.”
