Execution Date Set for Richard Tandy Smith
The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals has set April 8, 2010, as the execution date for Canadian County death row inmate Richard Tandy Smith.
Smith was convicted and sentenced to death for the July 1986 murder of 28-year-old John David Cederlund in rural Canadian County. Smith shot Cederlund with a shotgun during a robbery.
