Attorney General Pruitt Charges Former Rainbow Fleet Executive in Embezzlement
OKLAHOMA CITY – Attorney General Scott Pruitt Wednesday charged the former executive director of the Oklahoma City Rainbow Fleet with one count of embezzlement and one count of unlawful use of a computer. The not-for-profit company discovered the falsified requests and alerted the AG’s office.
According to charges filed in Oklahoma County District Court by the AG’s Public Protection Unit, Wayne Royce Junghanns, 61, fraudulently submitted claims for reimbursement to Rainbow Fleet, Inc., involving more than $25,000.
On January, 16, 2012, Junghanns also allegedly submitted a falsified computer generated document, claiming that he had purchased items valued at $933.55 from the National Association for Family Child Care.
The AG’s Public Protection Unit protects consumers from fraudulent, unfair or deceptive business practices and can provide conciliation services to help resolve complaints against businesses.
